Election of a councillor for the electoral division of Talybolion


Number of Councillors to be elected: 1

  1. An Election is to be held for a County Councillor for the Talybolion electoral division.
  2. Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, Isle of Anglesey County Council, County Council Offices, Llangefni, Ynys Môn, LL77 7TW on weekdays between 10am and 4pm or electronically.
  3. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, County Council Offices, Llangefni, Ynys Môn, LL77 7TW on any day from the day after this notice is published, on weekdays between 10am and 4pm (excluding bank holidays) or electronically as per the arrangements set out in the electronic delivery statement below but no later than 4pm on Friday, 27 September 2024.
  4.  If the election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday, 24 October 2024.
  5. Applications, amendments or cancellations of new and existing postal votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer, County Council Offices, Llangefni, Ynys Môn, LL77 7TW by 5pm on Wednesday, 9 October 2024.
  6. Applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at County Council Offices, Llangefni, Ynys Môn, LL77 7TW by 5pm on Wednesday,   16 October 2024.
  7. Applications to vote by emergency proxy must reach the Electoral Registration Officer, County Council Offices, Llangefni, Ynys Môn, LL77 7TW by 5pm on Thursday,  24 October 2024.
  8. Applications to be added to the register of electors in order to vote at this election and must reach the Electoral Registration Officer, County Council Offices, Llangefni, Ynys Môn, LL77 7TW by midnight Tuesday, 8 October 2024.  Applications can be made online on the register to vote website.

Nominations may be delivered in accordance with arrangements set out in this statement.

  • Nomination papers can be submitted to nominations@anglesey.gov.wales
  • Your nomination paper must be submitted as an attachment, PDF or Word Document is preferred.
  • You will receive an automated reply when your nomination has been delivered.

The Returning Officer will send a notice to inform candidates of their decision, as to whether or not their nomination is valid.
