The Born in Wales study

Background

Please take part in these surveys and help researchers to discover how families, health care professionals and policymakers can help to support families and give children the best start in life.

Researchers at the National Centre for Population Health and Wellbeing Research (NCPHWR) launched the Born in Wales study in September 2020.

This has been funded through Health and Care Research Wales.

There are two surveys; one for expectant parents and one for parents who have a child between 18 months to 2-and-a-half-years old.

Expectant parents

There are separate surveys for expectant mothers, their partners and same sex couples.
