Isle of Anglesey County Council

Nappy collection service

We provide a nappy collection service to eligible Council Tax paying households who have children in nappies.

Rules for nappy collections

The child must be under 4 years old and live permanently at the address. You cannot apply for two different addresses.

The nappy collection service will finish when the child reaches the age of 4 years.

Further requests will be considered on a case by case basis.

If no bags are put out for 3 collections in a row, the service will be ended.

The rules about nappy collections are covered by our Household Waste Collection Policy.

How to apply

To apply for the service, please fill in the online form on this webpage.

We will contact you when we have reviewed your application.

Timetable for nappy collection service

If you have been approved for this service, your nappy collection is made a week before your black bin collection, on the same day of the week as your usual recycling collection.

As an example, if your black bin is collected on a Wednesday, your nappy collection will be made on a Wednesday too, a week before the black bin is collected.

If you are not sure when your black bin is collected, you can check your bin day. Then make sure that your nappy bag is placed at the collection point before 7am on your collection day, a week before the black bin collection.
