Activities

As part of the Partnership’s outreach and engagement activities, together with key partners such as Keep Wales Tidy, Ramblers Cymru and Kehoe countryside, volunteering days have been delivered from 2021 onwards and throughout 2022. To date over 30 volunteering days have taken place totalling over 700 volunteer hours by local people of all age groups. The project has made a real difference to the protection of nature and heritage sites as well as providing the opportunity for participants to learn new skills, meet new people and improve their health and wellbeing. Activities include litter picks and beach nurdle hunts, dry-stone walling, the creation of a wildflower meadow and the planting of fruit trees, path repair and maintenance and wildlife surveys.
